With iFlash, I can simply create 3- (or 4-, or 5-) sided cards and change the side order for quizzes as my learning progresses and my needs change, and using random side order enables my ultimate study goal of seeing one card side at random and quizing myself for both (or all) of the others.I have been using iFlash for Mac for a couple of years and am ecstatic to at last have a truly mobile study tool for the decks I have already created! It's good to see that iFlash Touch shows the same polish and thoughtful design as its Mac OS partner. Later, I want to see the written form alone to quiz for its pronunciation and meaning both.With paper cards (and most flash card software I've tried), this requires creating duplicate decks. When I start, I like to see the pronunciation and written form together and quiz to match them with their meaning. Studying Japanese vocabulary requires memorizing 3 basic things about each word: its meaning, its pronunciation, and how it is written. Note that images and audio are not current supported in iFlash Touch. iFlash Touch supports most of the features of iFlash, including all three memorization modes (Simple, Score, and Interval), and unlimited card sides. Once you've studied on your iPhone, simply repeat this procedure and iFlash Touch will sync back which cards you have memorized into iFlash on your Mac. No need for external servers, web sites, or any monthly costs! To send decks from iFlash to iFlash Touch, click the "Export" button in iFlash on your Mac, select "iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch", and go.
